We will host the 5K Gin Run and Cotton Gin Festival for 2020!

Unless state health guideline change or Covid number increase drastically before November 1st. All participants are encouraged to wear face coverings and use the sanitation stations often. Social distancing is available for parade viewing from Malcom Road, Second Street and Main Street (Hwy 83). Or you can participate in the parade! Application required.


July 4th BBQ We regretfully announce that the City of Bostwick will not host the annual Fourth of July BBQ this year on behalf of the Wellington Masonic Lodge and the Bostwick Fire Department.

Cotton Gin Festival - November 7th, 2020

All proceeds from the Cotton Gin Festival go toward the up keep of the Susie Agnes Hotel and other city improvements as needed. The hotel has now been completely renovated with the first floor serving as city hall and a community center. Rooms upstairs were renovated for office rental. We currently have three offices rented. (For more information about rental options please contact us via email or phone call.) Hope to see you at the race, the festival or both! Thanks.

Gin Run: October 26, 2020: Starts at 8:00 a.m. at the Bostwick House on Hwy 83 (attach application). The race features a 5K run. Prizes will be awareded for each age group. (click for more information & application) -- ( Download Race Map )

Arts and Crafts/Food Vendors: Guidelines must be followed and booth site presentation is important for consideration. Deadline for entry is October 1st.

Booth Fee: Art and craft vendor fee is $100.00 per given allotted space. Food vendor fee is $200.00

Eligible Exhibit Items: Vendors must exhibit original, creative, handmade, quality arts and crafts.

Booth Space: Total booth size for exhibitors is 12 x 12. Tents are required and must be stabilized. Display items are not supplied by festival except for food vendors. Food booth/location will vary depending on setup.The festival committee has the right to decline vendors if not within guidelines established in the application.

Parking: Please park in designated areas for safety. The parking fee is $5.00 per car. Hay rides available from parking field to festival. We ask that you do not park in areas roped off as it may interfere with festival operations. Violators will be held responsible for accidents or towing. Please be prepared to park in a field as you are coming to the country! Festival Park at Bostwick Big House from Echols Road at Bostwick Sod Field from Gilbert Road with handicap at both sites and wagon rides.
